RTD Flasher Instructions

Download and install the RTD Flasher software

This program is compatible with Windows PCs only (not Mac).

Install the software before connecting the device.

Open the RTD Flasher program on your computer.

Connect the RTD device to your vehicle and computer

Plug the RTD into the vehicle’s OBD-II port.

Turn the key to the ON/Accessory position — do not start the engine.

Connect the RTD to your laptop using the USB cable.

Verify your computer is connected to the internet

An active internet connection is required for syncing and updates.

Resync the RTD interface

In the RTD Flasher software, navigate to Help > Resync Interface.

Allow any firmware updates to complete if prompted.

Gather VCM Suite information

Click VCM Suite Info in the software.

Select Gather VCM Suite Information.

Save the generated VCMSuiteInfo.txt file to your computer.

Read and save the stock file from the vehicle
-
Select Read Vehicle in the RTD Flasher software.
-
Confirm the ignition is still in the ON/Accessory position.

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the read and save the file.

Send the required files
-
Email the Stock Read file to andrew@mustanglifestyle.net.
